Description
Taken in the Santa Fe National forest, near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Join with me to save nature, one photograph at a time. Yes, it's true. With every item purchased, we plant ten trees in countries ravished by deforestation. This project is saving the planet and empowering others to transform their communities through environmental, economic, and spiritual growth. Join the movement.
What is it with aspens? Why are we drawn to them? Is it the black and white contrast caused by the white bark and black spots? Is it because we can anticipate the changing colors in autumn? Or the beautiful green leaves in spring?
We all have reasons for loving aspen trees. Many of the aspen groves are found the in the American Rocky Mountain Range and at higher elevations. They can be found in states like Montana, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and several other and into Canada.
These "family" trees grow from the same root system.
